ECAC (Education Curriculum Advisory Committee)

The ECAC is a parent run committee that helps select curriculum, evaluates current educational programs and makes improvements and changes based on students' needs. This is the committee to serve on if you desire to make a difference in your child’s curriculum choices.
ECAC meetings are the second Tuesday of every month (except June and December) at 3:30 pm in the secondary library while school is in session. All meetings are open to any who desire to attend.

The ECAC is comprised of the Superintendent, the Elementary principal, the High School/Middle School principal, three teacher representatives (one from each school), six parents representing all three schools and at least two students.

Please contact the committee chair at edcommittee@seattlechristian.org if you are interested in joining. Terms run for three years with the option of staying an additional year or another entire term if requested and approved by the committee. Serving on the ECAC is a great way to build relationships with other parents, staff and administration. You will also fulfill your SALT hour requirements if you attend all meetings.
