We are delighted to present our program for your consideration and we celebrate the many great things that God is doing in our midst. Our school exists to proclaim Jesus Christ in all aspects of our program. Our weekly Chapel program is at 8:15 AM every Wednesday and is a perfect way to be introduced to the whole program at SCS. The elementary program is unique as the well qualified and experienced staff works hard to attain our mission. Our teachers have an average tenure of 17 years at the school and their experience and success with students speaks for itself. You will find willing teachers who are engaged with students as they learn. But more than that, our vision and practice is to accomplish a partnership with church and home. We are a school and we know that families want to be involved in their children’s education. At Seattle Christian, we count on your partnership and we are blessed to have families who embrace the school as partners.

 

Our academic program is very successful according to recent Stanford scores. Academic programs can be measured in many ways, though. At SCS, we take special care to incorporate some of the latest measurement tools to be sure we are tracking student growth. In addition to strong academics, students have a full range of special courses including; physical education, music, art, off campus field trips, library and technology in grades 3-6. Intramural basketball is offered in the spring for all grades. Every spring and fall, our students offer wonderful music and drama programs, usually presented to a capacity crowd! Our students also participate in ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) Math Olympics and Musicale.
