Our Board
At Seattle Christian School, our Board of Trustees is dedicated to guiding our school with wisdom, prayer, and a shared passion for our mission and vision. Operating under the Policy Governance philosophy, the Board ensures SCS stays true to its purpose and follows the mission, vision, and established Bylaws that shape our school community.
Our Board is self-perpetuating, with members serving five-year terms—bringing consistency, experience, and a heart for Christian education to every decision. They meet monthly (except in July and December) to oversee policies and support the continued growth and health of SCS.

Dani Yorkston
President
Dani is a proud graduate of Seattle Christian and continues to think of SCS as “home.” She and her husband James are raising their three children—two currently attending SCS with one future Warrior still at home. Their family is actively involved at Highlands Community Church in Renton, where fellowship and community are central to their lives. With a passion for cheerleading and officiating, Dani has taken her experience coaching cheerleading at SCS into becoming a cheer official and eventually to serving on the board of the Washington Officials Association.
Nicole Howell
Secretary
Nicole is passionate toward the pursuit and advancement of our mission at Seattle Christian School. She seeks to serve with a mind and heart for Christ, and a commitment to impactful outcomes. Her professional background includes Regional Training Program Development and Oversight, Operations Management and Sales/Marketing Direction. Presently, she and her husband Brian own a commercial construction company, along with a property management business. Together, they are joyfully raising their two beloved children (one current student, one future), attending Highline Christian Church, and are most grateful to be a part of the incredible community here at SCS.
Teresa Savage
Vice President
Teresa serves as a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and Portfolio Manager with over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. She specializes in comprehensive wealth management strategies and holds multiple advanced designations, including Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC™), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®).
An alumna of Seattle Christian School, Teresa is committed to advancing the school’s mission of providing a Christ-centered education. She and her husband, Kenny, are the parents of two sons currently enrolled at SCS and are active members of Highline Christian Church.
Carly Levkiv
Member
Carly graduated from the University of Washington Foster School of Business. She has over 18 years of experience leading teams, driving product strategy and innovation, marketing, business management and growth initiatives at both Amazon and Nordstrom.
She has always had a passion to help and share the gospel with our homeless neighbors, volunteering at Bread of Life Mission, Union Gospel Mission and Real Life Church. She currently serves as a Board Member of Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission Board of Trustees and is on the Strategic Committee.
Carly and her husband Yaroslav have five children, three of which attend Seattle Christian.
Carol Murray
Treasurer
Carol holds a BS in Finance and BA in Philosophy from Azusa Pacific University and is a former CFA charter holder. She is currently the Director of Corporate FP&A for Alaska Airlines. Carol and her husband Michael (an SCS alumnus) attend Christ’s Church in Federal Way. They have two sons enrolled in SCS elementary.
Bryan Jones
Member
Bryan holds a B.S. in Physics and a B.A in Biology from Seattle Pacific University and a M.S. in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is the Associate Vice President for Admissions at Seattle Pacific University and has served at his alma mater for 20+ years in both the enrollment and fundraising areas of the university. He and his wife Kristen have three children and attend Highline Christian Church in Burien. He is a passionate advocate for Christian education and is so thankful to have his family at SCS.
