Faculty & Staff

Teacher Requirements

  • Must be a mature Christian who is active in his/her Christian life
  • Experience teaching and/or directing choirs preferred
  • Required OSPI fingerprint/background clearance
  • Live in agreement with SCS Statement of Faith and adhere to the SCS Standards of Conduct

New teacher start date is August 19, 2021.  MS block schedule situates choir elective alternating weekly with T/Th one week and M/W/F the following week.

"Super" Requirements

  • Must be a mature Christian who is active in his/her Christian life
  • Required OSPI fingerprint/background clearance
  • Live in agreement with SCS Statement of Faith and adhere to the SCS Standards of Conduct
  • Successful previous work or volunteer experience in an environment with elementary aged students

Work agreement begins August 23, 2021. Work hour schedule for afternoons.  Times may vary.

Teacher Requirements

  • Must be a mature Christian who is active in his/her Christian life
  • WA State Teaching Certificate - Science endorsement(s) preferred
  • Required OSPI fingerprint/background clearance
  • Live in agreement with SCS Statement of Faith and adhere to the SCS Standards of Conduct

Science sections include Biology, Anatomy & Physiology and MS Science.

Contract date begins August 1, 2021.  Benefit package includes medical and dental insurance.  Paid time off for sick and personal days.  403(b) plan available and SCS tuition discount for children of faculty members.

Coaching Positions

  • Cross Country season to begin mid-August.
  • Candidates must be a spiritually mature and growing Christian who is active and vital in his/her Christian life.
  • Sign, adhere to and defend the SCS Statement of Faith and Employee Standards of Conduct.
  • Have an understanding and commitment to the vision of Seattle Christian Schools and to its philosophy of education.
  • Cross Country season to begin in September.
  • Candidates must be a spiritually mature Christian who is active in his/her Christian life and fully committed to the mission of Seattle Christian School.
  • Sign, adhere to and defend the SCS Statement of Faith and Employee Standards of Conduct.
  • MS Baseball season from September to October.
  • Candidates must be a spiritually mature Christian who is active in his/her Christian life and fully committed to the mission of Seattle Christian School.

  • MS Volleyball season from September to October.
