In alignment with our ongoing efforts to give students an educational experience that is engaging, meaningful, and powerful, Seattle Christian School has partnered with the University of Washington’s Center for Educational Leadership on a two-year project to adopt the CEL 5D.
An internationally known and respected framework, the CEL 5D improves student learning by focusing school leaders’ and teachers’ attentions and strengths-based training on the classroom practices that research identifies as being most beneficial for student achievement.
It has been both eye-opening and encouraging to see how the framework works hand-in-glove with the Biblical truth of the Imago Dei found in students and teachers and our discussion of Donovan Graham’s book Teaching Redemptively.
