Elementary students have the opportunity to get their STEM related feet wet by being members of SCS's FIRST LEGO League team.

For high school students with interest and gifting in STEM related fields, the Apex Robotics team is a place where they can hone their problem-solving, teamwork, and ingenuity skills. Apex Robotics is a member of the FIRST Robotics League and compete against local teams like Aviation High and other large public high schools in our region.

Participating in only its third season and thanks in part to our talented and committed coaches and parent community, the team has won many accolades including the Regional Rookie of the Year Award, the Finalist Award, the Imagery Award, and two-time winners of the Excellence in Engineering Award. The team advanced to the World Championships in Houston for the third season in a row and made the top 100 out of roughly 3700 teams representing 28 different countries.
